So I am sure you have heard the term “Boudoir Session”, but what exactly is a boudoir photography session? Should you get one done?
A boudoir session is a type of photo shoot where women can discover their inner and outer beauty. These sessions are often taken for self-esteem purposes to feel more confident in themselves or as an idea gift for your significant other! They help boost confidence on all levels with poses that make it seem like they're powerful individuals who know how attractive they really are. It may sound intimidating at first, but believe me when I say these shoots will be so much fun—you'll forget about any trepidations beforehand!
I've never done a boudoir session before, but I know it is something that would be fun and help me feel more confident.
But the truth is that it doesn't have to be scary at all! After working with hundreds of women who've done boudoir sessions – and after going through my own process myself – I know that there are actually five main reasons why these shoots are so empowering for us as women. And once we understand those reasons… we realize that they apply just as much to regular portraits too!
