When Jamie decided to book a boudoir session with Allebach Photography, she knew she wanted it to be something extraordinary. Her life is often fast-paced with a demanding 9-to-5 job, so finding time to express her authentic self, as a cross-dresser, was a rare treat. With a love for dressing up, enjoying the sun, and simply being herself, Jamie was eager to capture this side of her in a space that felt both freeing and safe.
“I was really excited from the start,” Jamie said. “The level of comfort was there, and I knew Allebach Photography was the right place for me.” She came prepared to make the most of the session, choosing “to wear as little as possible” to fully capture the spirit of the moment.
The day of the shoot was thrilling for Jamie. “I was on cloud nine,” she shared. “The excitement of the day is so much fun. It was everything I hoped it would be—and more.” When she saw her first round of images, she was absolutely dazzled, particularly by the shots in direct sunlight. Laughing, she recalled, “I never thought I’d lose my vision”. The sunlight, though, boldened her look, adding a stunning touch to the photos and reminiscent of her favorite outdoor moments.
Since receiving her photos, Jamie has found herself looking back at them often, seeing her beauty and strength in a new light (pun intended). The experience boosted her confidence and gave her a cherished reminder of this moment in her life. “These pictures mean so much to me,” she said. “I keep looking at them—they just make me feel so empowered.”
Jamie’s advice to anyone considering a boudoir session? “Omg. Do it. Don’t let fear, your self-body image, or anyone else stop you.” With having experiences at other studios, she confidently says, “As far as I’m concerned, there’s no one better than Allebach Photography.”
Reflecting on her favorite part, Jamie said, “You arrive and jump right in. There’s no awkwardness. It’s genuine kindness and fun.” She shared her gratitude to the Allebach team, adding, “Just a huge thank you to Mike and Erika for being so welcoming and flexible with everything!”
