For Ashley, a full-time working mom of two boys (ages 5 and 7), wife to a K9 police officer with a demanding schedule, and someone navigating the profound loss of her mom, life had indeed flipped upside down. Amidst the chaos, she felt the call to do something bold, outside her comfort zone and something every woman deserves\u2014a boudoir session at Allebach Photography.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Empowerment<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI Wanted to Feel Like Me Again\u201d<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Ashley had been following us on social media for a while but hadn\u2019t committed to booking. Her hesitation came from the unknown: \u201cI didn\u2019t know what to expect,\u201d she admitted. But after the loss of her mom in August and a challenging year, she realized she needed to take a leap of faith. \u201cI\u2019ve had a rough year. I wanted to try something new and out of my comfort zone,\u201d she shared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Nervous to Empowered<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

On the day of her session, Ashley walked into the studio with a mix of nerves and excitement. She brought a few favorite pieces\u2014a collection of bodysuits and a bra-and-underwear set\u2014that helped her feel confident and comfortable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the session began, her nerves started to melt away. \u201cMike and Erika made me feel so comfortable from the start. They helped me choose the right outfits and guided me through the poses,\u201d she recalled. \u201cI could feel myself becoming more relaxed as the shoot went on.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her favorite part? The unexpected joy of the entire experience. From her own laughter to Mike’s Michael Jackson impression to bring out some smiles. \u201cThe \u2018HE HE\u2019s sprinkled in also helped ease the nerves!\u201d she laughed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seeing Herself in a New Light<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

When it came time for the photo reveal, Ashley was blown away. \u201cI was not expecting them to be so beautiful,\u201d she said. \u201cI felt stunned, emotional, and excited.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The images captured not just her beauty but her strength and vulnerability. For years, Ashley\u2019s husband had told her how beautiful she was, but seeing the photos gave her a new perspective. \u201cI finally got to see what he sees. For that, I am forever grateful.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
