Jaime had always been a devoted mother, pouring her heart and soul into raising her two children. After 18 years of being a full-time mom, she felt like she had lost a part of herself. With her son graduating high school and her daughter about to start, Jaime knew it was time to rediscover who she was beyond motherhood. Turning 50 this year, she decided to embark on a journey of self-discovery, beginning with an empowering solo boudoir session at Allebach Photography.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I first heard about Allebach Photography on Facebook,” Jaime shared. “I was very critical of myself in every way, but I wanted to break through the barriers I had created for myself and accept myself as I am.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The morning of the session, Jaime was filled with nervous excitement. She had chosen a sheer dress, lingerie, and a white button-down shirt to wear. “I was so nervous but excited,” she admitted. “I truly surprised myself with how comfortable I became during the session.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the moment she arrived, Erika and Mike made Jaime feel completely at ease. “I was so relaxed and at ease with Erika and Mike. I’m not one comfortable showing my body. I truly surprised myself,” she said. As the session progressed, Jaime felt empowered and had a great time posing and experimenting with different looks. “It was fun, completely empowering, amazing. I had a great time.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the most surprising moments for Jaime was how relaxed she felt while having her hair and makeup done. “Just how relaxed I got when I was having my hair and makeup done,” she recalled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When the time came to view her images, Jaime was filled with trepidation. She had always been her own harshest critic, fearing she wouldn’t like any of the photos. To her astonishment, she found herself liking many of them. “I was surprised because I truly can find fault in everything about myself. However, I liked so many of them. There were several I was just shocked it was me.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"empowering<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Choosing the artwork was another memorable experience. Jaime selected a canvas and an album filled with photos that captured her happiness and comfort. “I chose a canvas because it was one of the photos I looked at and immediately loved. My album had more photos than I thought I would have had. They are the ones that I was smiling the biggest and I could see that I was happy and comfortable.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

When asked what advice she would give to someone considering a session with Allebach Photography, Jaime’s response was enthusiastic. “Do it!!! I love that I did this. I am going to do it again. You are worthy and you deserve to feel amazing and beautiful.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"empowering<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Since her session, Jaime’s life has changed in profound ways. “I am working on loving myself more. I deserve to be happy and when I look at my pictures I am reminded that I am brave and strong and I can be sexy!!” She encourages others to book a session to see themselves through someone else’s eyes and recognize their own worth and beauty. “So that they can see through someone else’s eyes what they refuse to see in themselves.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reflecting on her favorite part of the entire experience, Jaime said, “All of it. I have never had my hair and makeup done, that was fun. The outfits I chose, posing, being able to also say I want to do this pose and knowing they would make it perfect. Plus the positive comments. You feel amazing!”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
