Leslie grew up as an only child, in a typical Hispanic household where sensuality, body image and empowerment were taboo topics to discuss. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLittle girls were to be seen not, heard. Naturally, shame was at the forefront of my sexuality – thank you religion!\u201d says Leslie. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

About two years ago, Leslie got \u201ctired of the bullshit\u201d (her words not ours ;)) and embarked on several journeys, for both personal and spiritual growth, as well as for self-care and self-love. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Along this journey, she learned how to embrace her sexuality. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI no longer wanted to feel that shame. December 2020 came with the end of my six-year relationship. Although it was probably my most stable and healthy relationship, it didn’t allow me space to grow sexually so I ended it. After a few weeks, it’s like I came out of my cocoon and my inner butterfly was unleashed. And that butterfly is beautiful, confident, witty, empowered, and most importantly radiates self-love. It’s been a beautiful journey and I’m embracing the heck out of it,\u201d says Leslie. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leslie came to Allebach Photography by way of her college roommate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI enjoy a good challenge and was super intrigued to see myself in that light,\u201d she said, though Leslie admits she\u2019s always been a little camera shy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

She knew though that with her newfound sexuality, this was the perfect opportunity to spread her wings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAfter a while the nerves melted away and it’s almost like I started developing a bond with the camera. It definitely helped to have such awesome coaches along the way. You guys hold a very relaxed and supportive vibe in that space…it’s awesome. You guys know what you’re doing. The powerful music during the presentation was epic…I loved every moment from beginning to the very end. I appreciate the psychological component,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Leslie brought about five different outfits (which included stiletto pumps, combat boots, her leather jacket, a crown, body suit, and three other sexy lingerie sets) and said at one point she felt like she was having an out of body experience. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI was five different people existing in multiple locations. It was very cinematic! I’ll never forget the moment I fell in love with myself. It was like a wave of energy that vibrated from my crown chakra to the bottom of my feet. A moment I’ll forever treasure,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leslie chose a four-piece collage for her bedroom walls, which includes her four favorite photos, the ones she said had the most impact on her emotionally.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOne of them reflects the joy that radiates from within…which essentially is what’s most important to me. Happiness comes from within.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leslie said the session helped her discover an entirely new side of herself that she\u2019ll carry and cherish forever. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI’m beautiful!!!!!!! And sexy!!!!! I’ve been on a high all week. I’m radiating confidence…it’s spewing out of me! Boudoir put me in a vulnerable position … and there is soooo much beauty that comes from a place of vulnerability…I am very grateful!\u201d she said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
